CD Label Designer 7.1

CD Label Designer is intended to create various kinds of labels for your discs, including CD jewel cases and DVD box labels.

Likewise, it can create business cards and booklets. The program´s interface seems a little crowded and it definitely takes some time to find the desired features. However, once you have used it a couple of times, you will probably feel quite comfortable working with it. Luckily, you have the chance to switch interface skins in case you do not like the one by default.

The easiest way to start a new project is by inserting the desired disc and select the corresponding drive from the tool. Then, you can decide what kind of element you want to create: front, inside, back, booklet or box. Fortunately, the program can scan the files on the disc and automatically look for information about them on the Internet. Thus, it saves you the effort of typing and searching for the necessary data to create the list of contents.

The program is in many ways similar to paint software. It lets you insert images as well as other elements such as shapes and text captions. Moreover, you can change their colors, positions, and dimensions exactly as you like.

All in all, CD Label Designer allows you to create your own labels for your discs. From the technical point of view, it has most of the features you need to produce beautiful disc cases and labels. However, much of the quality of the results will depend on your artistic skills. The product is distributed in three different editions: Lite, Personal, and Business. It can be conveniently evaluated at no cost.
